Mohamed Ali Nahdi (1972) is a Tunisian actor and director. After a theatrical training at the age of 17, in the Tunisian National theater, he played several roles at the cinema and theater television. He continued his studies in Paris, at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français where he obtained his diploma as an editor. In 2008, he directed his first short film "The Project”. The film took part in several national and international festivals (such as Clermont Ferrand) and won numerous awards including the Golden Falcon at the Arab film festival in Rotterdam. His second short film "Once Upon a Time at Dawn" (2010) won as much success nationally as internationally. In 2019, "Fatum", his third short film, was awarded the special mention of the young jury at Cinemed. His first feature, "Moez" was theatrically released in Tunisia in 2022.
