Armando Moreno (1925-1994) was a Spanish actor and director. Born in Valencia, he began his acting career in the early 1950s, quickly establishing himself as a leading man in films such as “Gente sin importancia” (1950), “La pecadora” (1954), and “Cuatro en la frontera” (1957). In 1955, he married actress Núria Espert, with whom he formed a theatrical company. Together, they were involved in promoting the company and in translating and adapting works for the stage. In 1965 he directed and co-wrote “Maria Rosa” – the only feature film he directed.
