Apply for the 2026 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival internship programme! Opportunities range from design department and social media to TV content production. The application is open until September 7.

In the first application round in spring, over 50 film enthusiasts expressed interest, more than half of whom have been confirmed for an internship. In total, we expect to host around 80 interns at this year’s festival, across 14 different departments.

The program welcomes university students, vocational school students, and participants interested in work practice through the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund (Töötukassa). The start of the internship depends on the specific position and will fall between September and November. All candidates will be contacted in the first half of September.

For those who are not students or Töötukassa participants but still want to experience the festival atmosphere, PÖFF welcomes new volunteers every autumn.

The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in Northern and Eastern Europe and holds international prestige as one of only 15 A-category film festivals worldwide. During the festival weeks, the PÖFF team—comprising volunteers, interns, project-based staff, and year-round employees—expands to a 700-strong "wolf pack."

Applications for internships are open until September 7th. More information about PÖFF internships options are here.
