Never Too Late
It's never too late to turn the page.
Is it worth getting a divorce after 60 years of marriage? This is the question plaguing a Chinese couple who decided to make a big change and divorce in their 80s. A courageous old couple have decided to start afresh and bravely face new challenges. The divorce comes as a shock to the small-town community of Huaihua, which doesn’t approve this kind of behaviour.
Director Yang Lizhu, the couple’s granddaughter, unravels the story behind the divorce and 60 years of marriage, and the reasons for its end. The film captures the warm, funny and sad moments that make up a marriage.
