La Dolce Vita
One of the most influential films of all time, acclaimed by critics, filmmakers and the public.
“La Dolce Vita” follows Marcello Rubini (Marcello Mastroianni), a charming but deeply disillusioned tabloid journalist in Rome, over the course of seven days and nights. Marcello attempts to pursue happiness and success in Rome by chronicling the decadent lives of the city’s wealthy elite, celebrity figures, and intellectuals.
The film is a powerful, satirical critique of a modern, hedonistic society where genuine connection and spiritual fulfilment have been replaced by superficial pleasure and fame.
